Visit Belgium

After collecting a couple of regular customers, John and Jane T, from Bristol Airport- who were on the return journey from a week long trip to Belgium, the Taxi driver soon picked up on the fact that John seemed to be a bit under the weather. After talking with his partner for a short while the driver learned the reason for this was down to his love for Belgian beers. There are about 400 Belgian beers available and John’s mission was to sample as many as possible over there 7 night stay!

.
Brewers say that it’s the organisms in the air around Brussels give these beers their uniqueness and that they couldn’t be produced anywhere else in the world to mach the same taste. Needles to say, John slept ¾ of the way home.
Feel free to leave any comments about Belgium Beer below.

We went to Ostend Belgium last year and I can say without a single doubt the Beer there is great, not to mention the frites they serve from handcarts on the streets - yum.
We liked it in Ostend that much we have booked to go again this May - Can’t wait!

Hi Gloucester Taxi, my wife has just told me about this post and its me who crashed out in the back of your Taxi!
Yes the beer in Belgium is fantastic and I did have too much!
I was impresseed with the speed you got us back from Bristol Airport, missing all the traffic in Bristol, did your GPS sat nav divert you around that jam?

Can I ask is GPS Vehicle Tracking used much in the Taxi trade? I think it could be of great value for the Taxi control rooms around the UK!

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks again, John.

If you like Belgium I am sure you will like Bulgaria, we have some great Beer here as well! It really is a great Country on the up that is still relatively un-discovered by tourists. You will find that Bulgaria property is available at very competitive prices! Its well worth taking a look.
